about

This is not a New Release!
These recordings were made in Lanciano, in 1996.
The tape was recovered in 2014 and only now are officially published.
This is a gift for those who did pre-order "Linee di Vette".
The tape has not been remastered, what you hear is what was played almost 20 years ago.
This is the first incarnation of Frentrum (although only in 2013, the band is called by me "Frentrum").

For those who did pre-order "Linee di Vette", "Caput Mortuum" will be delivered free by mail (is Google Drive) from the Land Of Fog Records.
For those who intend to buy the digital download, you can do it here, on Bandcamp.

Recording information:

Recorded in Lanciano, it is the first work marked Frentrum, used a tape recorder Panasonic (RQ-310DS).
Even before the band was called Frentrum, the tape was found in 2014 and the recordings are of 1996 (Summer 1996).
For reasons of privacy, I do not insert the full lineup (but only the first and last names wagered).

The graphics (front / back) was created by Ant.
The EP contains two songs, the song is the same, made in 2 different versions (different durations and different arrangements).
The cover photo was made by Ant in Rome in 2014 (Mitreo of San Clemente).

about

Frentrum Lanciano, Italy

The project started in 1996.
With me, for years, the lineup changes are continuous.
Between 1996 and September 2004 the only ones who continue to play, we're me and the drummer (R.).
In September 2004 I abandoned the band.
In the summer of 2013 I find the notes in a notebook, I find riffs and lyrics written by me between 1996 and 2001.
In the winter of 2013 I resume where I left off...
